I'm not a rev head or car guy, but I do love the shapes, colours, materials and decals of automobiles that came before the plastic of the eighties. There is something to cars, buildings or products that were made in those golden eras. There was time, money and thought into making something that was beautiful and made to last. It was also a buzz to be photographing things that I don't usually see often or have a need to photograph. I only wish I had have taken one of my old cameras from the same time as some of these beautiful metal people movers.
This gentleman had a great story how his car was driven across Europe in the sixties I think, hoisted onto a boat to Australia and he still drives it.
How cool is that? A home for your shovel & the other side had a home for your pick. Now that is a working vehicle.
